The listserv is the real-time-communication medium of the Animal Geography Specialty Group. Through it members can debate ideas, exchange news, organize paper sessions, post calls for papers, and request information from colleagues. The AnGSG maintains a Facebook Group page as well.  This group was created as an informal way to stay in touch, share photos and stories from the field, seek out feedback and share ideas, organize events and activities, and generally keep up with other geographers interested in furthering geographic perspectives on animals.

The purpose of this group is to be an open and active space for all members to create new threads in the discussion board, and to post comments, photos, links, videos, events, meetings, and conferences.
